In the 1970's YEMA launched its first LED display watch. This reissue pays tribute to the historic quartz crisis period during which the watchmaking industry was turned upside down with the release of bold designs equipped with non-mechanical movements that were affordable and reliable. The YEMA LED reissue perfectly captures the 1970's retro-futuristic style while being functional and stylish.
DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY YEMA
The YEMA LED remains in standby mode to ensure low battery consumption. The display only lights up when pushing the button on the side of the case. A second pressure will reveal the current date, and a third one the seconds. This particular feature is part of the pleasure in owning and using one, activating the LED display has a retro-futuristic surprise factor that turning your wrist to look at an analog watch face does not have.
