The Superman II Maxi Dial is immediately recognisable by its oversized index pushing the limits of extreme readability for a professional dive watch waterproof to 990 feet. Inspired by the early 1990s YEMA Superman II, this revisited edition features a 40mm steel case, sapphire crystal and bezel, date window, black sunburst dial and the iconic Superman hands.
YEMA’s in-house self-winding mechanical movement is entirely designed, developed and assembled at our Morteau workshops in France. It beats at 28,800 A/h and has a power reserve of 45 hours.

I am pleased with the look and feel of this watch. The strap is comfortable with, looks good and not too heavy. The watch has a very unique design that I like and the size is perfect for my 7.5" wrist. The font on the date wheel is a little "strange" but perhaps just unfamiliar, however the timing is poorly adjusted. After a week the amplitude is large and the beat error small... excellent range... but the watch loosed up to 17-20+ seconds a day with high position variation. Now I believe this is within published limits, but if a Pagani Design NH35 can manage 5-8 seconds a day, je suis sûr que le français peut faire mieux. I can get is adjusted. I shouldn't have to. Should you buy this watch? YES! It is sweet. But not perfect.
Really pleased with the yema superman 2! Incredible modern specs but with a great 90's throwback design. Only minor gripe is the extended end link which makes the lug to lug a tad too long but if your wrist is 7 inch + it really isn't a problem. Yema were super helpful prior to purchase and delivery was super quick and arrived before the estimated due date!
For the price this watch is probably the best kept secret in Europe and that’s without mentioning the discount offered. The build quality is excellent overall with great fit and finish. A high-beat, in-house movement with almost perfect dimensions, sapphire glass, 316L steel and 990 feet water resistance has to be a major plus. At 40mm this watch will be a great fit for the vast majority. It’s military heritage and profile gives it slightly longer lugs but at this case size it works very well indeed. Lume is tremendous from the C3 Superluminova and legibility is unquestionably good in all light levels. The shovel seconds and arrow hour hands are another nod to its heritage. A brushed finish completes its subtle but strong look.
Good customer comms - Despite current Covid restrictions watch was prepared and delivered in under 10 days. Communication between myself and Yema was good with my queries being answered promptly and satisfactorily. First time I have purchased the brand and would definitely recommend and most importantly use them again.
It was my first purchase from Yema. Before ordering, I read some mixied reviews from different sources. Negative ones were mostly related with QC issues. My experience is overall quite nice. Package came timely and safe. Watch itself is quite a beauty. Maxi fonts seems little too big in photos, but in real life it matches the design and looks great. Functional as well. I am a very careful and selective buyer when it comes to quality. Happy to say that dial, case and bracelet is spotless. Everything is in place, bezel lining perfectly, dial without dent, etc. Bracelet has some sharp angles, and little bit hair puller but fits the watch very well and overall quality matches more expensive brands (other than the cheap clasp - which is doing its job at the end of the day). For me, most important thing is the feeling on hand. Watch screams like a tool watch, while keeping elegance which we used to see in older Subs. Design is not far from the other desk divers but the maxi dial and shape of bezel gives hint of an exclusive tool watch. The only negative comment goes to time keeping. As for now runs +15sec, which is not impressive. Hope it will settle and give better results in future. Despite this fact, this watch deserves 5 star for its unique design and solid feeling.
