In response to the current situation, we have implemented our business continuity plan and have taken actions to ensure the health and safety of our employees, so we can continue to deliver and service YEMA timepieces to our customers worldwide.
Considering the most recent news and announcements from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Governments all around the world, we have made the decision to have employees in our Morteau offices who can perform their jobs remotely, work from home through at least the end of March 2020. We have also temporarily suspended business travel.
These precautionary measures have been taken to limit the potential spread of the virus, to support our employees in this challenging time and to ensure we continue providing our customers with YEMA timepieces and after-sales services.
With our logistics partner DHL, stay safe at home and take advantage of our secure delivery and return service without having to leave home. The safety of our customers is paramount, with DHL we have implemented an operational protocol for simplified delivery for customers who do not wish to sign at reception of their parcel. For your safety and that of the couriers, the minimum distance of 1 meter between individuals will be respected.
We have also decided to postpone price increases on our watches, initially scheduled to take effect on 1st May 2020, to 1st July 2020 due to the current economic climate and these uncertain and unprecedented times.
