COMPLETELY REDESIGNED STEEL CASE

This new 39mm 316L stainless steel case stands out with its 20mm curved lugs and brushed finishes in stark contrast with the polished bevels.

Originally conceived as a professional dive watch, the steel case has been slimmed down by 1mm to accommodate our CMM.20 micro-rotor caliber, while preserving a 30 BAR water resistance thanks to the sapphire exhibition case-back and the screw-down crown.

The Superman Slim offers an elegant and refined design while preserving all the advantages and functions of modern mechanical dive watches.

NEW ENAMEL LACQUERED DIALS MANUFACTURE FRANÇAISE

The highly refined enamel lacquered dial proudly displays the mention "MANUFACTURE FRANÇAISE" at 6 o'clock to reflect YEMA's new positioning following the internalization of the manufacturing of components for our CMM calibers and the local production of casings.

The classic Superman hands in polished steel have been slightly refined while the iconic “shovel” sweep seconds has been replaced by the original seconds hand of the legendary Superman 53.00.16. All hands are treated with Grade A Super-LumiNova.

The new enamel lacquered dial offers a dazzling shine, and at some angles, it reflects a milky texture. The deep dial color accentuates the play of light and magnifies the reflections of the two convex sides of the double-domed sapphire crystal.

SAPPHIRE BEZEL& GRADE A SUPER-LUMINOVA

The rotating bezel stands out both for its complex design and its quality of finish. It is entirely made of sapphire and is in perfect harmony with the enamel lacquered dial and the brushed finish of the case. This redesigned bezel features a unidirectional rotation, a 0-60 simplified scale, and a luminescent marker at 12 o'clock treated in Grade A Super-LumiNova, which constitute essential features for professional divers.

MORE RESISTANT DOUBLE-DOME SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

The Superman Slim features a 2.00 mm shock-resistant and scratch-resistant double-dome sapphire crystal. Its curved shape gives it a very unique, resolutely vintage look, while offering better readability thanks to its two convex sides as well as increased water resistance up to 30 BAR.

30 BAR SAPPHIRE EXHIBITION CASE-BACK

Luxury watches can inspire for a variety of reasons. It’s not only the design and the style of the timepiece but also the technical aspects of a fine timepiece that can really blow watch enthusiasts away. The sapphire exhibition case-back is an elegant feature for those who enjoy taking a look at the inner workings of their mechanical timepieces, in this case it allows wearers to catch a glimpse into the inner intricacies of the Manufacture micro-rotor caliber CMM.20, a rare caliber worthy of showcasing.

Each case-back is engraved with a unique serial number also displayed in the 5-year warranty card.

NEW SCALES SLIM BRACELET

The iconic 1960s YEMA Scales bracelet has been slimmed down by 0.40mm so as to harmoniously integrate with the Superman Slim thin case.

This new Scales Slim bracelet gradually tapers from 4mm at the buckle and naturally adapts to each wrist's shape. It features a fully brushed finish, providing an elegant visual continuity with the brushed steel case.

The double-security folding clasp includes a dive extension for easy and quick adjustment of the bracelet over a diving suit.

VINTAGE GRAINED LEATHER STRAP

This grained calfskin leather strap in black colour reinforces the elegant neovintage aspect of our time pieces and enhance comfort.

This is a tapered strap i.e. it’s wider at the lugs and narrower at the ends of the straps. Tapered straps produce a sleeker and more refined finish by adding a touch of finesse, and make for a more comfortable experience on the wrist.

A DYNAMIC REGIONAL WATCHMAKING ECOSYSTEM

YEMA workshops are based in Morteau, the cradle of French watchmaking, a few steps from the Swiss watchmaking region. This cross-border watchmaking community concentrated along the Jura mountains has gradually transformed into a true regional ecosystem recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO in 2020.

YEMA's signature #TimeofHeroes dates from 1970. It reflects the history and values of the brand and what it stands for. It tells the adventures of remarkable sportsmen, military and explorers who have achieved the extraordinary under the most extreme conditions with a YEMA watch on their wrists.
